Neruda Mistral, a vivid commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Prize in Literature to Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral, which also features Chilean poet Pablo Neruda; watercolors and colored pencils from ~imaginante.

• I made this illustration in a commemoration of celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Nobel Price in Literature of Gabriela Mistral.
The idea was find the moment Mistral meets Pablo Neruda in Temuco - Chile. She was a teacher when starts Neruda in poetry.
The colors I chose were intended from the rounds for children who wrote Mistral and the characteristic green that Neruda wrote his verses. The fusion of both generates the union of their worlds.
As a detail I can tell you that I included my little daughter in the composition and the original of this work, today is in a Paris Museum.

• Esta ilustración la realicé en conmemoración de las actividades de celebración del 60 aniversario de la entrega del Premio Nobel en Literatura a Gabriela Mistral.
La idea fue buscar conceptualmente el momento en que Mistral conoce en Temuco-Chile a Pablo Neruda. Ella siendo profesora inicia a Neruda en la poesía.
Los colores que escogí fueron pensados desde las rondas para niños que escribía Mistral y el verde característico con el que Neruda escribía sus versos. La fusión de ambos genera la unión de sus mundos.
Como detalle les puedo contar que incluí a mi pequeña hija en la composición y el original de esta obra, hoy se encuentra en un museo en París.
